The climactic sub-series opens with The Solar War, as the traitor host fights its way across the Solar System to the Throneworld’s doorstep, then closes on Terra itself: the traitor legions against the defenders of the Imperial Palace, ending in the duel between Horus and the Emperor. Everything the ramp showed you of the present is the shadow this casts.
