The militant sisterhood of the Imperial faith — an entirely female order raised by the Adeptus Ministorum, the Imperium's official church. Better known as the Sisters of Battle, they march to war in blessed power armour with bolter and flamer in hand, burning out heresy, corruption and the alien wherever the creed of the Emperor is threatened.
